Lancashire Health and Wellbeing Board VCFSE Rep

The LSC VCFSE Alliance is seeking expressions of interest for a VCFSE representative on the Lancashire Health and Wellbeing Board.

This is an opportunity to help ensure the voices of Lancashire's Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) sector are represented within strategic discussions about health, wellbeing and reducing health inequalities across the county. 

About the Board

The Lancashire Health and Wellbeing Board is a forum for key leaders from the health and care system in Lancashire to work together to improve the health and wellbeing of local population and reduce health inequalities. 

Board members work together to understand their local community's needs, agree priorities, and encourage commissioners to work in a more joined up way. As a result, patients and the public should experience more joined-up services from the NHS and their local council in the future. 

About the VCFSE Representative Role

The successful applicant will:

• Represent the interests and perspectives of the wider VCFSE sector across Lancashire. 
• Contribute to strategic discussions and decision-making at Board level.
• Work with the LSC VCFSE Alliance to gather and share sector views where appropriate.
• Provide updates and feedback to Alliance members following Board meetings.
• Help strengthen the voice of the VCFSE sector within the Lancashire health and care system. 

Please note that representatives are expected to act on behalf of the wider VCFSE sector rather than representing the interests of their own organisation.
