Lancashire County Council - Meet the Buyer Drop in Event

Calling All Local Business and Suppliers!
LCC will be offering local organisations the opportunity to attend their networking event at County Hall, Preston with representatives from LCC for shaped topics and discussions including the Procurement and Contract Management Team, Boost Business Lancashire, and the Lancashire Skills & Employment Hub alongside a range of external organisations including the Social Value Portal, Crown Commercial Services, UCLAN, the Federation of Small Businesses and other organisations.
These sessions offer tailored support and direct engagement with the Procurement and Contract Management Team, helping businesses develop a deeper understanding and position themselves for success, whilst also offering other information from key organisations in the market supporting your organisations work with public sector.
Organisations are not required to book a slot for this event. The event will be open from 10:00 – 15:00 with the opportunity to visit 'tables' for set discussion topics, or network with other organisations at event.

Connect with Others
Alongside the Procurement and Contract Management Team, you’ll have the chance to meet representatives from other LCC services along with business support providers. They’ll be on hand to offer guidance, share insights, and help you explore opportunities to grow and strengthen your business. This is a networking opportunity where a range of organisations attending the event can meet, collaborate and share experiences.

Please note, visitor parking at County Hall, Preston is limited. Where possible, you're encouraged to use public transport. The location is in the heart of Preston, directly adjacent to the Train Station, with bus routes just a short walk away.
- The venue for the in person, drop in event is on the third floor, a lift is available for access. However, should you have any other accessibility requirements please via email at procurementcontractmanagement@lancashire.gov.uk where an alternative room or virtual session can be arranged.
- The drop in/networking event will be held within one room, with separate tables for each topic.
- Individual tender content cannot be discussed to ensure a fair and transparent procurement process in-line with the Procurement Act 2023. Generic tender process and document information can be discussed.
- LCC cannot support the upload of a live tender, only provide guidance on how to upload and where to find supportive information.
