Our Aims

This page outlines what we have achieved so far, our goals for the future, and our plan to reach them.

A Task and Finish Group has been established to shape the future of the Alliance. The work plan for 2025-26 is currently in development, with a strong emphasis on co-creation.

Key Messages.

Over £6Bn is spent on health and social care in LSC. How we spend it must change because if we keep buying what we've always bought, we're going to get the same results.

We already deliver, and can expand or develop and deliver, solutions to some of the most challenging problems our system faces, breaking down barriers and building community confidence and cohesion to support our move from crisis resolution to true prevention.

We understand our communities. We can help drive people-powered change, catalysing and harnessing social action, and bridging the gap that can exist between public services and those they serve.

Our role is critical for the economic success of devolution in Lancashire and South Cumbria, both as economic players and, equally as importtan, as leaders in building a truly equal region so all our people and communities can share in that success.
