Know Your Numbers Week 2026

Know Your Numbers! Week is the UK's biggest blood pressure testing and awareness event, organised by Blood Pressure UK, that takes place every September.

This year’s campaign takes place from 7-13 September 2026. The theme for this year is 'You know your age, do you know your numbers?'. Whether you are 20 to 80 years old, you could be living with undiagnosed high blood pressure so go and get tested today.

High blood pressure can lead to heart attacks, strokes, and other illnesses. Once you Know Your Numbers! you can get support to bring your blood pressure under control and prevent these diseases.

Around a third of people in the UK have high blood pressure, but most don’t know it. It doesn’t have any symptoms so, the only way to find out is to have a blood pressure check.

Previous campaigns

The 2025 Know Your Numbers campaign ran from 8-14 September 2025.

Throughout the week, numerous pop-up blood pressure testing sites were set up across Lancashire and South Cumbria, to raise awareness of the dangers of high blood pressure and encourage people to get familiar with their numbers.

The aim was to help people check their blood pressure and understand the risks associated with hypertension — a condition that often shows no symptoms but can lead to serious health issues such as heart attacks, strokes, and kidney disease.

A total of 1,304 people were tested in total! A huge thank-you to everyone who took part.
