The Lancashire Anti-Poverty Network (LAPN) is collecting information about the services and organisations who offer money guidance, advice and/or activity to household experiencing poverty across Lancashire.

£24 billion worth of financial support goes unclaimed each year, but this doesn't need to happen.

By completing this survey, you can support the network to target guidance, advice and activities that support people experiencing poverty to acess the financial entitlements they are eligible for to lift them out of poverty.

Those who complete the survey have the opportunity to be entered into a raffle with a chance to win a £50 Love2Shop e-Gift Card!

Currently, there is no complete data on who provides money-related support services in Lancashire. While many established advice providers operate across the county, numerous other organisations offer informal support in community settings. To understand the scale of this provision, the LAPN is asking organisations to report on the work they do to help communities with money.

This information will enable the Network to better support smaller organisations in delivering money guidance. Input is also sought from organisations that do not currently provide these services but encounter people who could benefit from them - specifically, what information or guidance they need to offer effective support. This will help households access all financial entitlements they are eligible for, increasing their incomes.

Anyone who supports people experiencing poverty, or comes into contact with them through their work, can complete the survey (including those in public and VCFSE sectors). Vital services are being delivered to families and individuals, but some organisations struggle to find moneu-related support if it is not their area of expertise. With poverty levels rising and many people missing out on entitlements, the aim is to empower the sector to help households claim financial support and develop a strategy for income maximisation across Lancashire.

The survey should be completed by professionals who either provide money-related advice or have touchpoints with households experiencing poverty - such as foodbanks, community groups, health visitors, education professionals, and social prescribers.

Please do share this survey far and wide as the Lancashire Anti-Poverty Network need as much information as possible to get an accurate picture of money guidance, advice and activity in Lancashire.
