Trust celebrates National Apprenticeship Week

Would you like to learn more about apprenticeships within the local NHS?

Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is hosting numerous events to celebrate National Apprenticeship Week in March.

The Trust’s Workforce Development team has set up the events to celebrate apprentices working for the organisation and to also offer professional advice to those considering an apprenticeship.

The main event will be on the evening of March 6 with an evening showcasing the Trust’s apprenticeship programme and advertising the wide range of apprenticeship rol in the organisation. The event takes place in the Education Centre at Blackpool Victoria Hospital between 4.00-6.30pm.

Training providers will be attending the event to provide information on their apprenticeship courses and qualifications including Estio, Trafford College, Blackpool and Fylde College, ATLAS and Cumbria University. Staff from the Trust’s Recruitment department and officials from the union, Unison, will also be attending.

The Workforce Development team is setting up information stands throughout Apprenticeship Week in various Trust sites:

Monday, March 5: Blackpool Victoria Hospital Outpatients Department, 11am-2pm.

Tuesday, March 6: Blackpool Victoria Hospital Education Centre, 4pm -6.30pm.

Wednesday, March 7: Whitegate Health Centre, 11am-2pm

Thursday, March 8: South Shore Primary Care Centre, 11am-2pm

Friday, March 9: -Blackpool Victoria Hospital Outpatients Department, 11am-2pm
