'Thank You' week for care workers: 6 - 10 December 2021

Join us in celebrating and recognising the outstanding care which has, and continues to be, delivered by the whole of the care sector; including care homes, care in the home, supported living and day care services. ‘Thank You Care Week’ has been created to raise awareness of the important contributions staff make in caring for people across Lancashire and South Cumbria and we would love to hear from you!

The week-long activity, commencing on 6 December, will shine a light on the inspirational care workers who empower and support those living in the region and give the public an opportunity to show their appreciation for individuals working in the care sector. Care workers spend their careers supporting other people so it’s important that they are also given the support they deserve.

The campaign is designed to demonstrate how critical care workers are to the region and encourage those living in the area to show their appreciation by posting messages on a dedicated thanking wall, hosted by TAP’s social thanking platform.

Care workers or care organisations in the region can be publicly thanked quickly, easily and securely using TAP’s free-to-use social thanking platform with all messages checked to ensure they are positive:
