On Thursday 7 June, Healthier Lancashire and South Cumbria will welcome front-line staff, community leaders, transformation and workforce leads and wider stakeholders to innovate and embrace digital solutions at the Digital Innovation Summit.

The event is now fully booked but we want to give people across Lancashire and South Cumbria the opportunity to be involved in the event virtually.

The entire event will be broadcast via a livestream here - https://www.healthierlsc.co.uk/digital-innovation-s...

During the day we will be encouraging people to share their views and ask questions about digital during using #HLSCDigital

Can't watch the whole thing? No problem, here are some key times at which you may want to tune in:

Digital Strategy Launch 09.30 - 11.00

Hear how we have explored the impact digital solutions and innovation can make across health and social care – from enabling people to better care for their own needs through to managing the health of populations. We will update you on plans for and progress with community, citizen and patient activation; building a digital ready workforce; technology-enabled care.

Dr Amanda Doyle, Chief Officer for Healthier Lancashire and South Cumbria, will launch the new co-created Healthier Lancashire and South Cumbria Digital strategy.

Panel Session 15.45 - 16.30

This will be an opportunity to hear responses to your questions from both at the event and virtually.

Digital and system leaders for health and care will answer your questions about the digital strategy and innovation taking place across Lancashire and South Cumbria. This will include some of the questions asked virtually on Twitter throughout the day using #HLSCDigital

Launch of our Shared Care Records 17.30 - 18.00

Health and care professionals in Lancashire and South Cumbria now have instant access to potentially lifesaving information thanks to the launch of the new Lancashire Patient Record Exchange Service (LPRES).

Hear from Dr Nick Wood, Consultant, Gynaecological Oncologist, Gynaecologist and Chief Clinical Information Officer, Lancashire Teaching Hospitals and Declan Hadley, Digital Lead for Healthier Lancashire and South Cumbria. There will also be a question and answer session with the LPRES team as well as some of the organisations whose technology has helped make this happen.
