Morecambe Bay Respiratory Network Summer Conference

Staff from across Bay Health and Care Partners will come together to share learning of long-term respiratory conditions at a conference on Thursday 23 June 2022.

The event will take place upstairs in the conference centre at NWA Auctions Junction 36, Crooklands, LA7 7FP, from 8.30am to 4.30pm.

The conference will bring colleagues together who are involved in managing patients with a long-term respiratory disease with a focus on integrating the respiratory pathway and aligning with the vision of Morecambe Bay Respiratory Network (MBRN). 

There will be talks on a range of topics including spirometry interpretation, acute asthma admission and Interstitial Lung Disease. Attendees will join a choice of seminars with topics ranging from oxygen therapy and cardiac co-morbidity in lung disease. Case studies will be included to share successes and patient pathways. 

Attendees will be able to visit information stands from different services including Quit Squad and the Covid Recovery Service. 

Lunch and refreshments will be provided on the day. The event is sponsored by the MBRN, GSK and Chiesi.
