Getting my vaccination

If you have received a letter inviting you to book a coronavirus vaccination, please book it as soon as possible. It is important that if you book a Covid vaccination appointment that you are eligible.  If you are not eligible please do not to book an appointment as it will waste the appointment and waste an opportunity for an older or vulnerable person to receive the vaccine or someone else who is eligible.

You can also read about the vaccine or find out what will happen on the day of your appointment.

Please be aware that all Lancashire and South Cumbria Vaccination Centres have a security check before you are able to enter the site.  This involves a security operative checking any bags you have brought with you.  To make this process quicker and more efficient please avoid bringing anything that you would not take through security at an airport.  This includes liquids and sharp objects.  If you are on a lot of medication please do not bring the medicine with you, just a list of the medication you are on.
