We are seeking enthusiastic clinicians and managers to bring the problems they face in day to day services and develop their concepts, ideas and solutions further. Problems will be worked up and taken to a full day hack on July 25th. You may have already attended our Inspiration workshop on the 16th June, been approached by colleagues to get involved following that event, or you may be hearing about this for the first time. Whichever, we want to see you there to hear more – and help – bring your ideas and solutions to life.

You will need to bring a laptop; we’ll help you to get an Amazon test account and some free credits which allow you to build solutions in the Amazon cloud. You do not need to be an IT expert, the idea is that we bring together the right expertise to help work up your idea.

All entries will be judged by a panel in a closed environment to protect your idea. Selected ideas generated will go forward to the hack on July 25th, and those that are not quite ready to move forward to design will be recorded (still protected to you) and continued support made available.

The morning session will be dedicated to presenting back the ideas so far and the afternoon to planning for how these concepts are turned into solutions during the hack or via other routes.

‘A hackathon is an event where people from different backgrounds and expertise form teams, collaborate within a limited time frame, and focus on a specific problem or idea in healthcare to come up with innovative, disruptive ideas and solutions. By bringing together diverse minds, with the common goal of solving healthcare’s biggest challenges, problems can be diagnosed from multiple different perspectives’

‘The Innovation Agency’

We aim to build the innovations on Amazon’s technology if your idea relates/requires a technological solution. Please confirm your attendance/interest to Lindsey Roome STP Project Manager on by Monday 3rd July 2017
