Healthwatch Lancashire hosted a public event on Tuesday 12th September to give members of the public the opportunity to question leaders from the STP in Lancashire and South Cumbria, known as Healthier Lancashire and South Cumbria.
Members of the public are invited to find out more about Healthier Lancashire and South Cumbria on 7th September 2017 between 11am and 1pm at Chorley Town Hall ahead of the Joint Committee of CCGs, which the public are invited to observe.
Clinicians from across Lancashire and South Cumbria are coming together to try to reduce the number of people in the area that suffer strokes, and improve the services for those that do go on to have a stroke.
Representatives from Cumbria Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust, NHS Morecambe Bay Clinical Commissioning Group, North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust, Kendal Integrated Care Community (ICC), Radio Lonsdale, Lancaster the University of Lancaster and Kendal Organ Donor Town gathered together to showcase their services, engage with the public and found out what they valued which helped them stay healthy .
