What is Healthier Lancashire and South Cumbria?
The Lancashire and South Cumbria Children and Young People's Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health Transformation team are currently working with providers to redesign mental health services.
The Children and
Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Redesign covers all NHS funded mental health services for children and young people from birth to their 19th birthday in Lancashire and South Cumbria.

The current national target is that 35% of young people with a mental health condition are able to access services funded by the NHS. We can’t achieve this target by just increasing funding. You can read the Transformation Plan here and the easy-read version here.
It is important that young people are involved in the transformation and understand any proposed changes. Young people who use
the services and their families have knowledge and experience that can be used
to help make services better.
We are hosting a number of co-production events to work together to help design and build the new model. After each event we will share the main themes of discussion on this page and provide the opportunity for feedback.
